Egly-Ouriet “Les Prémices” is an elegant introduction to one of Champagne’s most revered grower estates. “Les Prémices” displays a more linear, acid driven structure than other offerings from this cult status, benchmark house, yet is sure to please both die-hard Egly fans and newcomers alike. Sourced from organically farmed vineyards in the Petite Montagne de Reims, it offers vibrant notes of orchard fruit, preserved lemon, white flowers, brioche, and long mineral finish. Under Francis Egly, the family estate has become renowned for meticulous viticulture and extended lees aging, producing Champagnes of exceptional precision, depth, and finesse.
